Job Description

We have a rare and exciting opportunity at our Bilstein site in Leicester for a Finance Business Partner to join our team who will liase and work with the relevant Revenue streams and Business Areas to drive profitable growth and identify efficiencies within the business, whilst maximising Cash Performance and Returns on Capital Employed.

This role is based from our site in Leicester on a Hybris basis.

Key duties:

  • Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Support on year-end closing procedures
  • Analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and reporting findings to senior management in UK & Germany
  • Managing an end-to-end audit process – while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors
  • Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary
  • Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts
  • Prepare and Submit Payroll
  • Duty analysis 
  • VAT and HMRC processes alongside our Group Services Team
  • Annual statutory accounts alongside our Group Services Team
  • Support AP, AR & CC
  • Support General Manager and section Managers as and when required
  • Inventory Management, supporting purchasing team and reporting to senior management in UK & Germany

 

About you:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excel, SAP, Sharepoint, experience. PowerBI would be advantageous
  • Experience creating statutory accounts
  • Experience of Accounts payable and Accounts receivable
  • You will have an accountancy qualification either  ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Planning, forecasting, and budgeting knowledge
  • Experience running annual audits
  • Payroll experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Varied experience in a company where you work autonomously and 'used to wearing multiple hats'

BILSTEIN is a business unit of thyssenkrupp's Automotive Technology business area which produces high-tech components such as camshafts, steering columns and crankshafts for the automotive and machinery sectors worldwide.

Based in Leicester the Bilstein Technical Centre UK facility boasts an in-house R&D division and its own suspension manufacturing capabilities.

The location allows for close collaboration with UK vehicle manufacturers whilst a dedicated engineering department service motorsport, aftermarket and bespoke one-off needs.

The team in Leicester currently consists of 26 employees, which this role requires you to work closely with.
